Titan the Wolf-Dog

Check out Titan’s transformation! Titan, previously named Flash, was rescued from an abusive wolf dog breeder and hoarder in Stockton, California. The Lake Tahoe Wolf Dog Rescue notified us of his situation, and asked if we could help. When we first picked him up, he was emaciated, terrified, and discouraged. It was clear that he had been abused because he was scared of being touched and would wince if anyone put their hands up or made swift movements. We also discovered HUNDREDS of thorns embedded in his skin. He had been living in agony for a long time. It took months to even get Titan to the point where he wasn’t cowering in his enclosure, afraid of humans. After getting him vetted, feeding him a proper diet of fresh meat and organic canned dog food, and being incredibly patient with him, he slowly started to open up. Now he loves going on hikes, cuddling, and playing with his girlfriend Oracle. It's been so amazing to see his miraculous transformation into the graceful wolf dog he’s become. Animals never cease to amaze. Even after all the abuse and neglect he received at the hands of his previous owner, he still found a way to open up and trust again.
