Women for Wolves
Jaws and Paws was formulated to connect women to the environment and nature. Anjali Ranadive, our director and founder, struggled from self-harm, anxiety, and depression for over 15 years. Rescuing animals and focusing on caring for something outside of herself enabled her to heal. Anjali formed Jaws and Paws in the hopes that she could make a difference for animals AND woman.
‘Women for Wolves’ is currently a volunteer program which aims to give internship, job, and school credit opportunities to women from all backgrounds. However, once we obtain the proper permits from Los Angeles County (which is where Acton is located) we want to begin therapy and rehabilitation classes for ladies of all ages. It is our goal to host substance abuse, mental health, and meditation programs. In order to do this, we must raise at least $20,000 to finally gain the permits. You can help make a difference for women and animals by donating.
**We also hire male volunteers. However, women get included first, as our primary objective is to platform females**
